Louwman Museum Officially Kidsproof 2024!
The Louwman Museum has been officially declared a Kidsproof museum for 2024. Becoming a kidsproof museum isn’t just happenstance. It means that a panel of highly critical kid-inspectors has visited and rated the museum with a minimum score of 8.0.
The Kidsproof museum accreditation isn’t new to us, but naturally, we’re thrilled to have once again received this recognition. Only 77 museums in the Netherlands have been awarded this quality seal. For us, it feels a bit like receiving a Michelin star!
Kidsproof status is achieved through and for children. They have to give the museum a high rating, and the NET promoter score—a measure of how likely children are to recommend the museum to others—must be very high. The Louwman Museum meets these criteria and receives glowing reviews. Particularly, children found the cars in the museum very cool, and the scavenger hunt is extremely popular. Visits by children to the museum have significantly increased, with over 9,000 children aged up to 12 years conducting more than 15,000 museum inspections in the past year.
The Louwman Museum takes the election as Kidsproof museum 2024 extremely seriously. In the upcoming year, we’ll do everything possible to surprise and inspire children every day. We’ll achieve this through special exhibitions, new collections, and of course, fun activities!
