Ferrari 275 GTB Lightweight
De Ferrari 275 GTB Lightweight wordt in 1964 in Parijs gepresenteerd. Dit zeldzame exemplaar met een lichtgewicht aluminium carrosserie heeft een Nederlandse historie.
In 1965 it was delivered by the Belgian Garage Francorchamps to the Dutch Ferrari dealer at the time, Molenaar in Amersfoort. Unlike most 275 GTBs, which are in showroom condition, this car is completely original, including the paintwork. It still has its original set of tyres. The Ferrari was acquired by the Louwman Museum from its first owner and has less than 50,000 km on the clock.
The model designation of the early Ferraris is based on the cylinder capacity. Each cylinder of this 3.3-litre, twelve-cylinder Ferrari 275 GTB therefore has a capacity of 275 cm³. The top speed of this car, which is considered one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever built, is 260 km/h.
