Georges Alfred Darel was a Swiss Impressionist, modern painter and illustrator. His work focused primarily on landscapes, still lifes and portraits. He worked in Paris from 1921 until 1940. Darel also designed radiator mascots for automobiles, and he was an associate at the Salon d’Automne and exhibited at the Salon de Tuileries and the Independents.
