Magnat Debon
Lithography on paper
A poster by an unknown artist of a solo rider racing down a road on his Magnat-Debon motorcycle. The speed of the motorcycle is emphasized by the simple lines and colours that draw the landscape, the motorcycle is travelling at such high speed that the scenery is no longer visible.
Magnat-Debon (later known as Grenoble and Dijon) was a historical French brand of motorcycles and scooters (1902 – 1958). The founders, Joseph Magnat en Louis Debon, built their first motorcycles with a De Dion-Bouton motor.
