One of his most noteworthy paintings was ‘Suicide’ exhibited in 1887 in Venice. This painting caused great controversy at the time. From 1898 until 1906 Carpanetto focused on advertising and poster production. His most important campaigns were for Gancia (1895), Fiat (1899) and La Stampa (1899).
